For far too long, the people of Kogi Central Senatorial district socio-economic and political needs and aspirations have been ignored by those who they elected to represent them at the Federal and State level. I am fully aware of the needs and aspirations of the people of Kogi Central Senatorial district and I strongly believe I can use the people's mandate positively to reverse the current socio-economic and political retrogression we are experiencing as people of Kogi Central Senatorial district.
My political ideology is simple: Equity, Justice and Fairness – these three principles underpins who and what I am about as a person as I seek your support as the Labour Party Senatorial candidate in the forthcoming election.
As an advocate for positive change, I formed two non-governmental advocacy groups called Change for Nigeria Initiative and Nigerian Youth Alliance for Democratic Transformation. In my mission to pursue and deliver positive change for the people of kogi State and Nigeria, I contested for the House of Representatives Adavi/Okechi Federal Constuency in 2011 election and was unsuccessful.
I have an undergraduate degree in Information Technology and Business Management, post graduate in Technology Entrepreneurship and Executive certificate in Leadership and Management. I have over a decade work experience in both private and public sectors organisations in Nigeria and the United Kingdom such as Abuja Technology Free Zone Company(FCTA), National Population Commission, Royal Bank of Scotland, Dell Incorporated, Acadia Group, IDT (Europe) Telecommunication company. I am managing my own business in the consultancy and information technology space currently.
I passionately believe the good people of Kogi Central deserve a Senator that is effective and can actively represent their interests at the National level. My drive and hope is to focus on the issues confronting the people of Kogi Central through open and active community engagement and representation in the National Assembly. I will be hands-on, accountable, and transparent as I actively get involved in committees and groups which would enable me deliver strong and lasting democratic dividends to the people of Kogi Central. I hope the outcome would create the socio-economic and political transformations which will deliver sustainable developments for everyone in Kogi Central no matter the socio-economic background, sex, age, religion, disability, educational or personal circumstances.
